Adding DDR2 Memory to Notebook? - replacing notebook memory
I have a laptop with Vista and 1 GB of RAM is not enough for Vista, so I bought another 1GB chip mem. Can I have this chip to a gain of 2 GB or memory card, can not add? Should I add the place of chips for another 1 Gig to the new 1GB chip?

Most notebooks use DDR2 RAM for today. The chances are good that you will be able to 1 GB of RAM, it should add.
Although you can add that, depending on your laptop. usually there is a point on the keyboard and another was on the back of the PC I 1GB on each of my machines. Make sure you buy the correct RAM before opening. Laptop RAM is not compatible with all laptops. Watch the speed and pin count. Make sure it's the same thing and follow the manuals that came with the laptop to go on the road. which is technically as a user upgradeable part, you can not void the warranty as well.
1 GB of RAM is already a standard Windows Vista. In general, most portable handle up to 4 GB of RAM. In fact, 1 GB is not sufficient to increase the RAM, is the only way to increase the performance of Vista.
All books must be able to treat more than 2 GB of RAM, depending on the availability of DDR2 slots, which is another standard for all notebooks today. Assuming you have 2 slots for DDR2 Memory 2 512 MB of RAM adds this amount to 1 GB, which we do not add more RAM means. Unless you have used 1 GB of DDR2 memory in a slot can then also add 1 GB to another.
There should be 2 DDR2 slots, and an open area to get more RAM. Make sure that the store that you buy DDR2.
Make sure that under MFG. Installation enough, or that the size of memory to allow for this team, some MFG some RAM for this motherboard. And no more!
